1. The teacher asks who wants to be a team leader (there should be five students in a team including the team leader); the students choose their team leaders after having interviewed them.
2. Team work: define what a logo is (who uses a logo and to what purpose?).
3. Individually: describe your favourite logo (research its history and try to explain why it has such a strong impact).
4. At home, individually: create your personal logo (add a motto)!
5. Role play: (individually) your team leader interviews you for a job in his/her PR firm; you explain your qualities, skills, personality, history, successes, capacity to work as a member of a team, etc., by explaining your personal logo to your team leader.
6. Team leaders: present the members of your team to the teacher (+ explain what the strong and weak points of your team are, and how you will organize your team so as to optimise the work to be done).
7. Team work: define a set of basic rules to creating an efficient logo (how "good" are your personal logos according to your rules, and what is the difference between a personal logo and a logo for an organization?).
8. Research: what do most logos for "communes" look like (what features do they have in common, and what do you think of these logos)? 
9. Group discussion: Why does Saint-Amant-Roche-Savine not already have a logo do you think? What are the possible reasons Saint-Amant-Roche-Savine needs a logo? Why has the "commune" asked the general public to design its logo do you think?
10. The teacher comments his photos of Saint-Amant-Roche-Savine (take notes!).
11. Describe Saint-Amant-Roche-Savine (geography, history, demography, businesses, socio-economic profile, politics, social policy, cultural assets, etc.); make use of the list of links on this blog for your research!
12. As a team: imagine what the "commune" might be like in 2030 (write your description; explain why you think the "commune" will be as you describe it).
13. As a team: list the reasons YOU think Saint-Amant needs a logo. 
14. As a team: list the possible elements to include in the logo for Saint-Amant (heritage sites, intangible cultural heritage/practices, physical features, local colours, local events, etc.).
15. As a team: design the logo (remember the teacher's comments, your description of the "commune", the purpose of the logo, and the rules for creating an efficient logo).
16. Team leader: send your team's logo before the deadine (Sunday 27 October 2019) to ortisbateau@gmail.com
17. Team work: give a 10-minute oral presentation of your logo to the teacher and the class on Wednesday 6 November 2019. You must explain why you consider your logo apt (you must prove you "know" the commune and how it will probably evolve over the next ten years or so).
